WHOLE CITY AS A THEATRE STAGE

The theatre plays of the second night of Urban Fest –International student festival of theater, for the eight time is organized by SKC Nis and Academic theatre of SKC are staged in Palilula Municipality. The members of Academic theatre SKC Nis played Women Orchestra play in the schoolyard of `Svetozar Markovic` High school. The play was directed and adapted by Marko Djuric, play by Jean Anouilh. The students of acting of the Faculty of Art, Novi Pazar, department in Nis, played `Double Mirror`, directed бy Kristina Brzic.

From 2011 the conception of the festival Urban Fest has been changed since it combines and connects the whole city into one theatre scene representing the production from Serbia
and the Region into five festival days on ten locations in all five municipalities. All plays are played in the open air and are free for all the theatre lovers. The locations for the stages are interesting cultural-historical locations or forgotten city locations that in this way get one completely new role. The Festival is of competitive character and all plays are judged before staging. Three members jury: Bojana Georgijeva, Bozidar Dimitrijevic and Novica Bogdanovic will bring the decision this year about the best.
